The pupils at St John with St Michael engage in a range of Forest Schools activities by having hands on learning experiences within woodland and natural environments around our school and grow their own plants, flowers, fruit and vegetables.
They activly look at the beauty of the natural world around them, especially when they are out and about on school trips.
We encourage the children to:
observe the world around us
develop life skills
be stimulated by their surroundings
appreciate and care for the natural environment
Each week we are lucky enough to have Olly White in school from Olly's Woodland Learning working with our KS1 children and in an after school club.
