Modern Foreign Languages
At St. John with St. Michael C.E. Primary, we use Language Angels to deliver an engaging and structured Spanish curriculum for Key Stage 2. Through interactive lessons, songs, and activities, pupils develop their speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills in Spanish. The curriculum focuses on three pillars of language weaved into all lessons, units and teaching types:
• Phonics • Vocabulary • Grammar.
Our curriculum covers a variety of topics, from everyday conversations to cultural traditions, helping children build confidence and a love for languages; this will ensure substantial progress and build solid foundations in language learning before leaving primary phase.
